Elmer Stack Attack

I've noticed a strange behaviour with the new patched Elmer lately, he has a tendancy now to stack his multi-unit formations in one single pile before attacking, taking absolutely no advantage of the new flanking rules. Anyone else noticed that?

Yep. If I were to go entirely by Elmer sometimes, I would have a stack of units 20 high. [:@] [:)]

Keep in mind that the new flanking rules make it much harder to flank a defender - not easier. Therefore, if there is no advantage to be gained from spreading to 3 hexes, it may be a waste of MP's to do so. On the flip side of that, is that if Elmer is ovestacking and subjecting his forces to density penalties, that isn't a very smart thing to do.

We'll look more at his behavior. Thanks.

It seems to vary how the defense is set up... facing a solid line I see Elmer spreading units of a single formation out... against alone defender I notice the stacking behaviour
