(I posted this on the FOFC board too)
OK, I spent the weekend importing the latest MLB stats into PureSim and have full 2007 stats (less today's game) imported.
So, I figured I'd use sandbox mode to pit BOS and ANA against eachother for 162 games. I set it to 4-man rotations and let the AI do everything.
The Red Sox won the 162 game series 92-70! I like our chances
Here are the stats exported from PureSim's Almanac
Guess I'll do Yankees Indians next if anyone is interested?
* Note I just imported and let it run, so some guys who are hurt like Donnelly are in there. Not 100% scientific but fun. I'll do the Yankees next!

Shaun, in checking the Almanac, should not Francisco Rodriquez, instead of Bartolo Colon, be listed as the Angels closer?--Lee

Yea, if you look at the saves, he is the closer, its just a display bug with the almanac and 4-man rotations.

Just for fun, you should do all four teams together as well. Maybe do the Indians -vs- Yankees, Indians -vs- Red Sox, Indians -vs- Angels, Red Sox -vs- Yankees, and Angels -vs- Yankees, and then a big Indians -vs- Red Sox -vs- Yankees -vs- Angels.
I would do it but I am writing my Master's thesis proposal this week. (this is one of my work avoidance times when I am checking out the matrix forums)
