Hi all
I am playing Version 7 CVO all the latest files and there is a few problems, first one
is a British armored unit arrived in New Orleans around the 28/12/41 at full strength which I thought
was a bit odd but then I checked back the next day and the unit had vanished, second one 4 British fighter squadrons arrived in South Africa I thought they was to be hurricanes but in CVO they are buffalos which is not a big deal but units vanishing IS
any thoughts?

Yes, that happened to me too. It's the UK 7th Armored Bde. When it vanished I saw it on the Reinforcements list (it would appear 90 days later). In fact it has to arrive "tomorrow" on my game [8D]

I think it vanishes because it is assigned to Southeast Asia? I think you have to assign it to another command (and that's what I am going to check): USN Pacific Fleet or so.

EDIT: this sounds just like the air units you "automatically" send to India from West Coast, just by assigning them to Southeast Asia and disbanding them. They appear 90 days later, if my memory does not fail.

This issue (the 7th Brigade) does not exist in Levels 5 and 6 - because it is set to appear at Aden. It is in Level 7 because I tried to move it to New Orleans - which is not working for land units - along with other hexes in North America near the map edge. So I should have moved it back to Aden - but failed to do so. Fixed.

I will issue x.783 right now to fix this - and do some other things listed in the update thread. But only Level 7 gets this fix because the others don't have the problem.

er... maybe this workaround does not work and this unit will be "appearing" and "vanishing" during the whole war [8D]

EDIT: but the unit --according to the Reinforcement list-- is supposed to re-appear in New Orleans again, not in India.

Yes - I actually set New Orleans for MANY units - but had to change them back due to a code issue. I failed to change this one - and you need 7.783 comprehensive to fix it.
