Odd behaviour with foreign langages (again!) - just to let you know, James, Ralph...

I've encountered some strange things with the foreign languages .dlls. This could be of interest for you, James, Ralph et al.
On my older PC the deutsch.dll was missing after the latest patch (honestly i don't know if i deleted it before the patch or not, but well..) - on the other PC it was still there after the patch, so i moved it from this one over to the old one, but it didn't appear in the language selection menue. I solved this by renaming the deutsch.dll to a different name - then it appeared in the language selection menue. Then i renamed it back to deutsch.dll and it still appeared in the language selection menue - it now works as intended. Any explanations..?
And why is the language.dll missing since the patch?
