I'm a little confused about the 1.04 Beta Update. I assume that this is not the final version of the update? If that is the case, and I install the beta update, wouldn't I have to go through the same process again when the final version is available?

Yes, you would need to install the patch again once it is final.

That was a good question, since its the first time I install a beta I was wondering.
