Does WITP work with Vista?
I am thinking of buying a new PC.

yes. it almost seems faster in vista than in xp...

I din't take the chance, I ordered my new computer with XP - I can always upgrade later if I think it is worth it - I'm waiting for version 1.3 of Vista - maybe they will work out a few thousand bugs by then.

Runs very fast and very well on my new gateway quadcore with vista.

It runs quite well on my Gateway computer with Vista.

Runs well on my new Compaq & it's a baseline laptop not top of the line.

WitP is a pretty basic game as far as technology goes.  Nothing about it is anywhere near the cutting edge the real time games are on.  I would expect it to run on any future version of Windows, as long as most older Windows programs will run on it.

Whether Vista will run with Vista at this point is another question entirely.

works great, super fast in Vista.  i had XP before and just upgraded.  The combat resolution is much faster, especially if you hit escape once duringthe recon air missions etc.

I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work. Give it a try, and let us know.

Force of circumstances rather than choice the other week led me to 'upgrade' from XP to Vista. Both the base and CHs with Andrew's maps have had no issue since.... thankfully.
