Hi,

I have just purchased the game and I am unable to successfully install it. At the end of the installation process the install appears to freeze (see attached screenshot). If I cancel out of the process at this point and attempt to run it I am told that my serial number is invalid. The install process appears to be freezing at the point where it is writing data into the registry.

I am running Windows Vista 32 bit Business Edition. I do have administrator rights and I have tried to run the installer as "Administrator" and the same error occurs.

I have about 10 other Matrix titles and they have all installed without any problems.

Any help would be appreciated.

As an update. I turned off UAC completely and now at the end of ths install, I receive the attached error.

As an update, I have managed to install the game but I had to boot to safe mode to accompliash a successful install.

I'll save my Vista installation complaints for another time.  Have fun!

I didn't deal with the installer itself, so this is something Matrix can address. The game itself should run fine in Vista, since it uses no XP or previous Windows specific coding.

No problems installing it on Windows Vista here. Running the ultimate edition but that shouldn't make any difference. Never hurts to disable anti-virus software and the like when having installation issues but I didn't have to do that in this case.
