Ranging errors with Radar Guided Missles

Into NSEW quadrants I can usually attack with what appears to me as range 1 Radar Guided Weapons even though in some cases the enemy is at range 2 or 3. Seems to not work as much or at all in center quadrant.
Am I misunderstanding something or is this a bug? North Korea any mission there is only one R type weapon so it should be easy to replicate..

So is this a bug or?
Need to know because right now it feels like cheating to knock them off at longer ranges.
The fact that it doesnt seem to work into the target area as well as the R1 on the weapon makes me think so..
Anyone else able to do this (I can do it every game every time). Makes it all too easy.
Am I crazy?

So for that anti-radar "Inverse R" missle thing a screenshot... Notice how my aircraft all in the top entry zone can target attack and destroy the R targets with the R weapons in the bottom approach zone. This also works from the right but oddly not from the bottom. Reproduceable 100% of the time and still wondering if anyone else can comment on this?
Its got to be a bug one way or the other cuz the rules shouldnt vary by zone..

I just tried this one. Oh yeah, it's a bug. [:)]
Derek and I just talked about it. He is working on a fix.

Weapon range bugs should be all fixed now, pretty much.
