Adrian Peterson rushed for a Vikings team record 224 Yards.

The Bears got up early with a punt return for a touchdown by Devin Hester.

It was an exciting game that was tied 14-14 at half, but the Vikings got up 31-17 on big plays (3 TD's by Peterson).

The Bears came back on big play to Hester to tie it. Then Peterson returned the kick for 53 yards before the Vikings kicked a 55 yard field goal to win with no time on the clock.

All scores today were from 30 yards out or greater.

Adrian Peterson and Devin Hester earned their paychecks!

Final Score: Vikings 34 Bears 31

That probably would have been a great game to watch! I was stuck with either Bears-Packers, or Bucs-Titans...what a pair of 'thrillers'.[8|] I will say, though, that I have never seen so many big hits in one game as there were in that Titan-Buc game. Good grief! [X(]

Jags won. Me happy. [:)]

As a life long Bears fan I am a little depressed on the way this season is unfolding.[:(]

I think the 2 most exciting players in the NFL today are Hester and Peterson.  Between just those two there were around 633 all purpose yard gained.   Truly amazing.

This year:
Hester: 922 all-purpose yards with 4 TDs on 43 touches averages out to over 21 yards per touch and a TD every 10.75 time he touches the ball.  (granted mostly on returns, but nobody compares there)

Peterson: 1030 all-purpose yards with 5 TDs on 114 touches for a average of over 9 yards per touch and a TD every 22.8 touches.

I challege you to find two other players as exciting......................

I'm not surprised at the Bears offensive struggles (trading Thomas Jones never made any sense. Cedric Benson seems almost magnetically drawn to the biggest group of defenders on the field), but when did their defense forget how to tackle?!

I agree with your 2 picks for exciting players, too. and also thank you for not mentioning Reggie Bush, who has rapidly replaced Michael Vick as the most overrated player in the league.
