New ships made

Hi Guys
Im am a rookie in this forum, but i have made lots of ships and new planes images
So i will be happy if anybody can help me with this problem
Now i have use about 2 month to draw [:D] Italien France Dutch English US Japanese
so that there will be more surface action even so that this is a carrier based wargame
but how do i get it to the format from 800x512 to 512x256 witout the image is being
surpressed pixles is there a program or advice from your[&o] i use Windows paint prg
New ships are fks:
IJN Shinano Fuso Yamashiro Musashi Ise as AVBB
Prince of Wales KGV Ark Royal Eagle Furious Hermes Vitorious class 4 ships
Repulse Renown Leander class LC Kent class HC QE class
Tirpits Bismarck Hipper class Graff Spee Sharnhorst Gneisenau Graff Zeppelin Z-31 DD
Midway Tromp Perth Java Boise De Ruyter and lots of planes from these nations
I am a old guy who loves strategi and there are a lot of force in CAW if only there were
a campain so you can have the forces deployd as they were in WW2

I must confess that I'm having some difficulty in understanding what you mean by "surpressed pixels", could you elaborate?
In the worst csae scenario try doing it in danish, I'm norwegian myself so I might understand you then.

det jeg mener er at pixcles laver ligesom en skygge af tegningen som et 3 dimisonelt billede af det exsisterende

Jeg klarer fortsatt ikke å forstå hva problemet er eller hva det er du prøver å oppnå.

I think he's trying to resize a 800x512 image to 512x256 and gets some kind of distortion / artifacts.

@mingohh: Perhaps you could try posting the original image and the resized image pointing out the problem? Also you might want to try a better application than MS Paint for image manipulations, e.g. GIMP.
