This is my first AAR. Not really familiar with paint and Irfanview so the pics might not be so good. (help me you may)
Now I'm playing this LCG the second time the first time I was relieved of my duty.
My orders are to strike throughthe soviet defences as hard and as fast as possible.
I know that I will face enemy in improved hexes, lots of ATR and AT guns.
I have no panzers just the trusted stug's and grenadiers.
I want to push north with one section of my Kampfgruppe, the other section will try to swing round from the left. The wooded area is a pain but the soviets will have spotters in the woods that will call down Arty on me. I want to try and use the hammer and anvil tactic.
See how it goes.
I don't get that much playing time so I'll see how fast and far I get in the next evenings.

End of Turn2
Arty didn't finish off FOB.[:@] But then I didn't really expect him to.
1 Coy taken position. 2 Coy also but a platoon has wandered off following 1 coy. Orders been given to fall back into group.
Expect large reinforements on turn 3. will try to push through, (blue lines)
Soviet pulling back.(green lines)
Major Arty strike behind my first line(green square), no damage but alot of firepower up a head.
Lost 1 sp pzr Grenadiere in that minefield, but caused more damage to soviets.
Advance going as planed. So far!

Turn 4
The battle for the hill is tying up valuable units. 3 Coy is to lend a hand to take this position, 4 Coy needs all the help. 1 Coy Stug will try a pinzer action.
Meanwhile 3 Coy Stug is going to push it way through the middle on turn 5.
Recon will take care of my right flank.
Pic shows the further plans red=Inf blue=Stug/recon
Maybe the Arty will have to aim better, or call in the Luftwaffe.

Jason quite a lot of work for a newbie like me.
Anyone who wants to enter my HQ and give my staff some tactical/stratigical advice. Just enter the door (flap) is always open.

Turn 5
3 Coy has pushed out some of the defenders on that hill.
Things are looking a little better there. That GRP is also disrupted. Should be leaving on turn6?
In the middle things are working out fine. 3 Coy Stug has pushed through. 2Coy Inf will support their advance.
1Coy will outflank the 1st VP along with 2Coy Stug.
Orders are to break through any defences and cut off retreating units.
4 Coy should follow up and take control of the VP.
Recon has found a few enemy units on my right flank. wil try to keep an eye on them.

Turn 6
No real advance made.
Stugs and Inf taken out enemy units trying to get out of my way.
The hill is more or less taken care of.
Try to make a much headway as possible in turn 7.

Turn 7
The Hill has been taken!!
My units can move quite freely behind my lines now.
The attack presses on. No pauses for the Soviets.
1Coy advance on the left while 2Coy takes the right.
The Stug Coy's are pressing on the attck. Some units a litle too fast have to hold them back a little.

Turn 8
My men have pushed forward too fast, and lose 2 Stugs.
My Inf try to catch up. Using the halftracks is just too dangerous, so they have to run!!
My units will try to punch holes in the defensive line.
Once the engineers catch up my men will have room to manouvre.

Turn 9
Forced some gaps in the defensive line.
Hope that my units can apply the pressure.
4Coy has loaded up on halftracks and will try to make speed they have just left the hill.
Maybe the Luftwaffe will help in hitting retreating units, once I make the big break through.
The red square is my right flank protected by MG and 81 Mortar.
The Pioniere/Engineers are following through the middle.

Turn 10
The Inf and Stug's have punched their way through.
The 2nd VP is firmly in our hands. The Pioniere have cleared the minefields. 2 Coy has caught up with the main force again. The attack is gaining momentum but loosing the cohession. Everyone seems to be racing ahead try to keep the Soviets off foot.
I know the enemy will be waiting for me up ahead, but no idea what units he still has. I hear quite a bit of Inf moving to engage, or running away?

Great AAR. Maybe this will inspire me to do the same.
A brief suggestion. Take screen shots without the show visible or show reachable hexes on. The shading on the map makes it harder to see what is going on.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks,
Duncan

vadersson will do my best. turn 10 was better to view?
Think my graphic card is no good or running game at wrong resulution. seem to have terrible pic quality compared to other AAR's. But as I mentioned it is my first attemp at this stuff, but glad you're enjoying. Keep the "critic" coming always needed.[;)]

Turn 11
The pressure is building up.
The 2nd VP has been taken and my units continue to press on.
2 Coy takes the right flank while 1 Coy takes the left. The middle is being taken care of by 1.2&3 Coy Stug together with some engineers.
Got to try and bring up some AA as Iwan is letting his airforce harass me. Lost a commander by his flyboys.
my lower right flank is holding with MG nests and some AT guns.

Turn 12
Airstrikes cost me more sp's.
The enemy defences have bottlenecked my units. Got to break through and move out.
Lots of ATR out there.
Not much movement on my side as Inf has to catch up with the Stug's otherwise the ATR might take them apart, something I can't afford.
