PIFL Season Two Complete

Just a note, seeing as there seems to be a lot of interest about the Leagues people are running, that the Professional Indoor Football League has completed it's second season, and a very successful one at that. The league featured four new teams and an exciting race for the wild card spot, as one of the expansion teams got in (Chicago Fire) and put their stamp on the league. Also making the post-season were last season's champions the Pensacola Aviators, who might be making a case for themselves as the league's first dynasty.
In the end however, it was two remarkable comeback stories that met in the Lincoln Cup. The Burlington Skyhawks and the San Francisco Great Whites finished tied for last place in Season One, both having 3-7 seasons. In season two, both teams lost only one game and met in the final, where the Great Whites brought the City By The Bay their first football title in 12 years, beating the Skyhawks in a thrilling 51-41 contest.
The owners of the PIFL would like to thank Brendan, our tireless commisioner for all his hardwork in creating a fantastic league for us.
