I've re-installed this game after many years. I seem to recall that there was a command that allowed the player to rename his units. This is not simply the "change corps" option, but a way for the player to input his own name. I stumbled across this feature once, but it is either undocumented or very poorly documented, and I can't duplicate it now. Does anyone know how to do this?

The only way I know is to use editwir, its fairly easy in that to rename units in scenarios; but it's not possible in the game itself so far as I know.
