Just started my first game. Interface is so smooth its hard to believe.

i have only played a few turns but i can already feel this game is going to be a great improvement on PT.
Ill probery have some nit pickings later on [:D] but hey there should always be room for improvement.

But again thx for what at a first impression atleast, and im sure later on will be, a awesome game.

First impressions after a few turns - will be playing this for many years. Was wondering when something would come out to let me move on from 10 year-old titles!

Well done - and thanks.

Congrats. I've never played People's Tactics (unlike everyone else around here[;)]), but this is a pretty cool game, with a nice, uncomplicated interface. Good job!

After playing some small random maps just to get the hang of it, while still being smashed by the AI i cant help to like this more and more.

Biggest improvement has got to be the the production screen where you have a great overview. But also stuff as the statistics and history works great. And the supply system seems like its much better, or maybe its just that there is alot more clear information as to what units get etc and how much arrived and what they have stocked.

And this time around you have to produce all your supply right off the bat. This had me tricked in the beginning as to why my units suddenly wouldnt move and lost all combat strength.

Thanks for the compliments. it took me 3 years to move on from PT to AT in which a lot of work has been done. the result is not perfect but quite good, it is a lot better then PT and i am looking forward to keep supporting and improving AT for a long time to come!

kind regards,
Vic

Typical programmer language. [:D] It doesn't matter how good you make your app, you could always re-write it 100 times and everytime will the better than the previous!

I am very impressed with the simple and elegant design and the flexibility. You can have a full conflict at strategic level with production, population, research, regime morale etc. etc. - or an operational-level game with reinforcements as opposed to production, etc. Love the anti-supply concept and the way in which information is presented on screen.

I think this will be my favourite game since TOAW back in what seems like 1897. God knows I have had my share of wargaming disappointment down the years and I feel I was owed this after all the $$$$$s spent on shelfware!

Thanks Vic and the test team. I'll gladly fund your efforts by buying scenario packs, major upgrades, modules, etc. etc.

PS OMG I am a fanboy. I always wondered what it would feel like.

Great multiplied by 5. At least. All hail that genious Victor R. - now! [&o] [&o] [&o]

After messing around a bit with the tutorial (without manual, like the cool kids use to do it), I started a small random map. Got the Hard Kingdom assigned and that eagle is so cute. [:D]

However I'm a bit concerned about the AI strength. After 20 rounds I have a very favourable position. The enemy is actually divided in two. Well I was leading in cities by 6 to 4 from the beginning, but I messed that whole staff thing up (managed to bring my HQs down to about 10% staff [X(]) and he wasn't able to wipe me off. Everything is ripped apart now, though. Looks actually more like a 18th century war. [8|]

But! Great multiplied by 5. At least. All hail - uh, we had that already.

Only played for a couple of hours but love the game so far! I wish the Pacific scenario had AI (would love to play that solo) but the random scenario generator seems brilliant. The gameplay there alone could last a lifetime. They give a Civ/Empire type feel but better! So many different types of maps and AI opponent variations!

The rules seem quite simple but yet allow for so many different options. Very impressive.

Best purchase I've made for some time :)

AI is not hard enough ?
Why you don´t register here and do some ladder games ?
You´ll see this is a completely different story [:)]

I never multiplayed PT, too. And I never check emails [8D]

Besides, I still haven't won this game.
