I was happy to see the North Retreat from a detailed battle with 8 Will to fight points left.

I was the South and we both had about 80,000 men each (Fredricksburg). They attacked, I dug in, they entered the meat grinder and lost. Rather than continue the slaughter (like before), the North called retreat, like generals did when there was no hope. I"m not sure but I think my points were double theirs at the time.

Good to know. I think this is one of the best changes in the patch. Are others finding that this works the way it should?

Since the adjustment was made, it seems to be working well. At least from the prospective of Confederate person vs Union AI. Game has never looked better.
