Naming Units

Is there an ability to rename units? If not, is it something that could be considered for an enhancement?
The reason I bring this up is that when recruiting a new infantry unit in Fredricksburg, VA, the unit that appeared was the 1st NJ Infantry, which seems a little odd. I am particular in that I want to recruit units in a colony with that colony's designation.
