Rudder Pedals

So, I've started playing SS again for the first time in a while and I have a new set of Saitek pro-flight rudder petals to go with my Saitek X-52 HOTAS. Problem is, the rudder pedals don't work. I've removed all my other game controllers and have SS set to use both joysticks, still doesn't work. Has anyone else had this problem and figured out a fix for it? Or at least have some idea of how to do it? Thanks.

Each change requires that you restart the game

Do you mean restart starshatter after changing the joystick setting to "Both"? I just tried that, didn't change anything. My rudder pedals still don't register when I try to set them as an axis. Am I missing something, or do you have any other ideas? Thanks.

I figured out why I can't get the rudder pedals to register when it's set to use both joystick 1 and 2... because when that's set neither the HOTAS or rudder pedals are recognized. If I set it to joystick 2, though, the pedals work fine... at least, sorta fine. The game picks up the left and right push pedals as X and Y and the twist as the Z rotation. The last part is right, but I so don't want to fly with push pedals instead of a stick. I tried reprogramming the pedals to enter keystrokes with the saitek programming software, but the game still detects them as X and Y... at least, when it's set to use joystick 2 it does. When joystick 1 is set it detects keystrokes from the pedals just fine.

Any ideas on what I can do, or is this just a bug? Thanks.

Bump, because I just got these pedals and have the same issue. Any solutions/hope for better pedal support?
