July 31, 1941

Most of the action shifts to the Russian front as my troops gain lots of ground in Southern Russian. Looks like the Soviets will set up behind the Dneiper.

Further north, my troops make good progress crossing Eastern Poland and moving into the Baltic States.

tweber,

what is your production per turn at the moment? i would be interested in seeing a screen of that, although i understand you may not want to divulge that information to the enemy[;)]

@dave

don´t ask Tom for his production. I would get depressive seeing this [:D]
But let him tell you his advantage in cities. Tom loves to count cities and compare to the enemy.
On my side there is not much left to count.....

Ok, turn 24.

The west can´t report too much.
All i did was a air attack west of alexandria which detroyed most of an enemy unit.
Since this unit contained staff i´m sure the HQ there (under high pressure by the west) has been disbanded
to save the PP´s before i was able to destroy it.

In the east i thought a long time what to do.
I decided to start beeing a bit more agressive.
While i moved back my troops at nearly the whole front
i used fresh armored troops for a push forward SW of Kiev to isolate
Vinnista (something like this) and destroy the planes there. That would have been
a very important success in the southern sector.
I wasn´t able to prepare by planes or artillery, but attacked from 4 directions.

Unfortunately the town was defended by german elite infantry with very high experience (grrr....),
so my attack caused some damage, but not the "damage" i aimed for. Destroying ALL planes and artillery there.
Now i think a german counterattack will come...

One thing i forgot.
My advance from Leningrad to Helsinki.
Supported by artillery and planes my troops moved forward.
The enemy is going back blowing up bridges behind him.

My russian Navy blocks the Helsinki port to avoid too much help from outside
coming in.

Will post screens next turn when i don´t forget it.
