Hi -
I downloaded both the battleground games and also purchased the extended download insurance. Good thing too as I can't get either file to completely unzip!

I'm on a trip so maybe the internet connection here at my hotel is to blame, I don't know.

What I need to know is how to get back to the place where I can download my games again and see if I can get good copies.

Help please!!

As far as I know, there's no problem with the files on the store so it sounds like your connection did corrupt them.

You can always re-download by going to www.findmyorder.com with your order information. You can see your order history and redownload any purchased games from there.

If you are having connection issues, you might try www.stardownloader.com which is a pretty good download manager for keeping transfers clean.

I'm going to control my urge to have the games NOW and wait till tomorrow when I'm home again and try it again then.

I am also having problems getting them to unzip. After many many attempts and getting various error messages like unspecified error 0x800004005 I eventually got them unzipped.

However the Civil War one keeps getting decompression errors and the Shiloh elements will not load properly.

Trying to do a completed new download tonight.

Thanks for the advice, I'm home, have downloaded and installed them and it went fine. The unzipping took a lot longer than usual, so maybe I just rushed things before. Either way thanks to your help everything is fine - so now I can go try and figure out how to play these things!!

Whilst waiting on the download from a very slow server - I thought I would try it from the copy I put on a CD earlier today.

It worked! Have no idea why a copy should work when the one on the hard disk refuses to decompress properly. Will test it all out over the next few days but Shiloh at least seems to load.

Downloaded the BG Double Deal yesterday but only unzipped them today. What a combination, what value. Thank you Matrix. Outstanding.
