Hello,
I am currently playing a Forge of Freedom Email game with someone and we are on about turn 5 or 6. We are using ver.1.10.5(I think) and we would like to upgrade to the latest ver. 1.10.9(going on memory here). My question is, if we did that, would it affect our saved game adversely or would we be better off to just finish out current game as is and then ugrade? thank you for any help anyone can give me. kirk hutzel

In version 1.10.5, the second number, the "10" in this case, is the "major version number."  In principle, you should be able to upgrade between versions that have the same major version number without it too adversely affecting your game.  So upgrading to 1.10.9 should be possible.

There may be some bugs from an earlier version that persist even after you update the game, and the compatibility of games within the same major version isn't something we can guarantee 100%, but within the same major version you should at least be able to have the game read the same save files.

I can't reload any of my saved games after I used the newest patch.  I'd be careful before I messed up a pbm game.
