Suggestion for improved timing passes

I don't know how difficult this would be to code, but it would make timing passes more realistic and relavent. Instead of having a passing timer, have a passing "trigger point". What I mean is that when the receiver reaches a certain point in their route, the QB delivers the pass to a designated point within some given time interval with an appropriate variance to account for "human error". This makes timing routes more transferable from team to team and player to player.
