Hello Guy´s,

Maybe someone of you is interested in playing that great scenario in a PBEM.
I´ll play the germans or russians. You can choose the side you want
to play.

If you can send turns on a regular base (daily if possible) and don´t fear such a time intensive scenario
pls post here or send a PM in case you have questions.

As a alternate scenario we could also play Europe 1939, but this is much more complex.

Juergen

I would like to take on another game of this. I've currently got one going with freeboy and one with Barthheart, where I am the Soviets and Axis, respectively. I would be happy playing either side. Email me at iamjamiam AT yahoo DOT com if you are interested and we can discuss options, settings, etc, before we start. Thanks.

Hi Juergen,

Those are the settings that I prefer, so we are good in that respect. Per your implied request in the PM message, the Screenshots option will be activated, as well.

As you may have noticed from my thread in the main forum, I do play both at work, and at home, on two different machines. This leads to a "wiped log" warning, each time that I switch to a different machine. If this creates a problem with trust, then I can restrict our game to either one of the two computers, but this will slow down my playing speed. It's your call and I am not offended if you wish to enforce my playing on one machine. Just let me know.

I live on the West Coast of the USA, so there is likely a 9 hour time difference between us. I'll send you the first turn within a few hours, from the home computer. Good luck and have fun!

Regards,
James

Oh...one other thing. I assume that you are using the 1.02 Public Beta patch, as will I. If this is incorrect, please let me know.

Hello James,

I would like to see the game played only on one machine. Even it slows down the speed.
Any cheat messages make me sick (ask tweber for this [:D] )

And i still play 1.01. That´s because the actual public 1.02 is not available for the betatesters (like me).
The patch we can download still has a little bug and that´s why i did not loaded and installed yet.
But that doesn´t make a difference for our game. Vic suggested to continue playing 1.01 until
we can get the 1.02. This is probably next week. How about sending me the actual patch ?
So i could install it yet.
I have running games with 1.01 (Vic, Tweber and others) and no problems with.
Please ask Vic, you (or me) won´t have any disadvantages.

regards,

Juergen

I'll send you the public beta patch when I send the turn file. It is not too big - just a little over 3 megs. I don't know if there will be any issues with installing it, since your beta testing installation's serial number may not be in the database of the release serial numbers. We had that problem with some of our TOAW III beta testers, when Matrix changed their serial number/patch update routine. Let me know how it goes, when you get it.
