That's great news, and congrats to Eric Heiser, for being the first non beta tester one.

I am working on one right now, ww2 phillipines with united states vs japanese. Coming out great so and far this editor is super easy to use, super easy!! I never seen a feature in any editor that actually allows you to download a map to use as an overlay. It actually looks like the phillipines because of being able to draw out the hexes while using a real map for guidline! [:D] I will send it in once I can play test it, I am making it mainly a vs AI scenario. It only took about 1 hour to make so far and I am already playing it so I can imagine we will see tons of scenarios and mods for this game. I might go as far as adding a few new naval and air units in this one mainly for the player such as an escort or light carrier and torpedo bombers, looks to be easy enough to do.

Thanks for the encouragement, but I am with the final beta testing group (eheiser).  Those modding the old blitzkrieg boardgame triggered something as that was my first wargame purchase.  I have another scenerio about ready using that map as inspiration, but because of the size, haven't finished testing it yet.  It starts with the two major powers at war and the five minors in the middle allied and at war with both majors.  I think it would be great to have the minors at peace and use diplomatic points to trigger their inclusion in the war, but I am not very savy with the programing.  Anyone up for speeding up the process is more than welcome to take the file and play with it.

sorry man. it all went so fast with the final beta testing. could you be more specific why it does not upload?

No problem Vic. Only problems I found were in the manual, but now that I have beta testing experience, I'm ready to start my new career. On the upload, I went to "post reply" , hit the "Click here to upload!" link, found the .pt2 file in my directory and hit "OK". Then I got the message "file type not supported". In my frustration, I submitted the file over on the .org website as it is playable although it is really not ready. I think this location would be a more appropriate place to put it since the scenerio is not compliant with "my vision" (i.e. players using political points to manipulate their participation).

ok... so its this forum which is annoying you. the work around for that is to zip it before uploading it.

No the frustration comes from my lack of knowledge/skill.  Thanks for your patience. Do you think it is possible to remove it from the .org site until I can polish it some?  I will try zipping.

its in unapproved scenarios at the moment so .. thats ok.

just say so in the description of the scenario that it is still UNDER CONSTRUCTION
