I researched and produced some mind shields for my troops. They look like helmets.
However, I don't know how to equip them on my soldiers. There is no "head" location to place the item, so I just put them on the belt. Does that do anything? How do you use the mind shield? Is it enough to carry one in your inventory or do you have to put it in your hand and use it, or what? Wish there was a way to equip it on the head.

I find that many things about this game are ambiguous and undocumented, and rather backward. But overall, it's a nice experience, I just wish I could change some things about it.

Just place it in your inventory and it will protect the trooper from "mind" attacks

How does one put the mind shield helmet thingy on ones solders? What do you mean put it in inventory? Don’t they need to wear the helmet?
