First of all thanks for bringing these games back to us. I have been waiting since you aquired the titles and am very pleased with the results. The price is an amazing value and as a loyal matrix gamer I am pleased with my purchase. An improved AI would have been nice but with a little patience and imagination I can always seem get get into unique situations that are fun to play.
A question
When I try to use the help button ( I'm trying to get the OB ) I get a window that says it is no longer supported by Vista. Could you let me know if I am doning something wrong or a way to resolve the problem.
Thanks again matrix for the many years of gaming and for bringing me back these classics!

Hi Jimbo,
Thanks for the kind words, we're glad we were able to bring these back along with the other great Talonsoft games. Regarding the Vista help issue, have a look here:

Yup, you guys at Matrix are the greatest. It was a sad day when Take-Two took over TalonSoft, and an even sadder day when (predictably) the TalonSoft classics were taken off the market. The Tiller titles were a pinnacle of wargaming design and execution, and I lamented their disappearance. It is fantastic[/b] that Matrix has revived the BG series, the Tiller Campaign Series, TOAW, and others. Like good books, none of these should ever "go out of print." Thanks, Matrix! [&o]

Thanks for the rerelease in this attractive packages!
I have aquired quite a range of titles recently and I have to admit, while I am very pleased with all of them, the Battleground Series and especially the Napoleonic Wars receives my personal crown of the bunch.
After I went through some of the smaller scenarios learning the system, I am now engaged at Borodino and having quite a blast with this gem of the past!
Kind Regards

<< I lamented their disappearance >>
As I think someone said earlier, they never were taken off the market. You could always buy these games from Take Two, for a price.
