Just a little info for any of you who want to play a VERY good head to head board game. It's called FLAT-TOP and came out in the early 80's by the once great game company Avalon Hill. It is a carrier battle game with most the big battles of the south pacific. I'm sure you can get it some place over the web. Well just thought some of you might want to take a look.

Do tell.[;)]

Does the game have something to do with those aircraft carrier thingies? I think I've heard of them....wasn't there a movie about a battle somewhere once?[;)]

[:)] Be advised , like all games , Flattop has some interesting glitches. One was that it counted a airplanes destructiveness based on payload. I once wiped out the KB with a couple of wings of PBY's. Boy , didn't that P-ss off my opponent.  [:D]

One of the major glitches was the disappearing "liter" bug. Had many liters disappear while playing that game.

Flattop was my favorite boardgame. I have both the original Battleline version and the AH version.

We had some great battles with it back in the day...

What's so unusual about that?
