RHS Aviation Support

I will use Truk as an example although it is not the only base with this phenomenon. RHSCVO 7.7865 S070. Truk at start of game has two HQ which both have 16 Aviation Support. No other units at Truk have any Aviation Support. Yet the total for Truk is 209 Aviation Support. My questions, where is the other Aviation Support coming from and if I take off all the units will I still have 177 Aviation Support left?

It is a "feature" of WITP that not all squads report to players. They are still present - as the totals for aviation support show. They will stay there until the units with them move. These will be support units of various kinds - particularly JNAF and JAAF base support units - which show up with many aviation support squads. Probably squads in device slots 16 to 20 do not report. You can look at units in the editor and see the whole device list.

Ok understandable, but this creates other questions. If said unit is damage during a game, aside from it's percentage how am I to know what is missing? And why are squads in device slots 16 to 20 not reporting when I can see the same device in the HQ's? Can this be corrected? Should this be corrected?

I don't really know what is happening - and neither (probably) does anyone else. In an ideal world it should be corrected. I bet it isn't on any correction list however. We will see in a month or so.
