Immobile HQ?

Hi,

I've played a few random scenarios and like the game. Can't figure out, though, why sometimes some of my HQ units become unable to move. It has AP, the red "movement" icon is on, but when I try to move the HQ it can't move anywhere, even to adjacent hexes. I thought maybe it was rendered immmobile by too many supplies, so I transferred those to another HQ, but it didn't help. All of the sub-formations seem to be mobile. What am I doing wrong?

If you have any airplanes, then you can't move.

If you have aeroplanes then you can only move to airfields, if yuo have ships then yuo can only move if they have enough cargo capacity to carry teh rest of hte HQ, and then only by sea.

If you have both then the only way you can move is if some of the ships are enough carriers to hilod all teh aeroplanes, AND you have enough cargo capacity to carry all the rest :)

I swear SMK is a rules whore.  I've played 6 or 7 ramdom games and didn't know those rule particulars.   I guess playing a dozen different games at once brings out my ADD.

Check the supply stored in the HQ. They have a weight and maybe the HQ is too h
