Game too easy...

I created a PAC-10 League and threw in Michigan for a 10 game season.
I let the computer do the draft and training of all teams.
I let the computer simulate all games except for Washington and its oppenents.
Here's the problem:
I play as coach for the Huskies and win all games by a huge margin (59 to 10).
I've tried changing playbooks to no avail... a run around the right end almost always results in a touchdown.
My question is: How do you make the computer opponent more challenging without having to micro manage each team?
I like to win... no doubt. I would like to win in a close game though.
Thanks for any input.
