Just started a new game and I am experiencing problems sending ships diectly from New Orleans to Frisco..Instead of ging "north", the ships go to the hex below New Orleans and stay put.(The white "path" surrounds that south hex but picks up again at the curve in the sea lane at the furthest north channel,in the correct place, but there is nothing connecting that "south" hex to the rest of the path.
Th contravene this, I have ordered the ships to go to that curve at the top of that channel, and then to head for Panama.
Is this intended??[&:]

If you have New Orleans, you are in a Level 7 scenario.
You MUST have a Level 7 pwhex file for this to work.
And it DOES work.
You can install the pwhex file, restart the ongoing game, and it will work. You do not have to abandon a game to change a pwhex file.

Nobody else has reported this so I figured must be an problem on mmy end. All else works fine in every channel. To the best of my knowledge, I am using the correct Pwhex file or the others would not be working right.

I don't see how anything else affects this problem except the pwhex file. But I suppose a corrupted scen file can do almost anything. Or indeed the wrong one. What is the scenario? The scen file controls the number of columns: make sure the one you have says Right x 149, Bottom y 150. The problem is you have no column 149 - you are using a scen file for 148 columns or a pwhex file for 148 columns.

There have been no changes for some time. They should all be posted at Sendspace - see Cobra's RHS Download Thread - and they all probably are on the RHS site.

I am fairly certain you are right because the "white path" does end at an outside border hexline which does not exist, but picks up again several hexes away.
Once completed with all things RHS, placing everything at one specific download point will benefit everybody.
Excepting you, Mifune and Cobra, I doubt anybody has more time on RHS than me, ergo the comments.

I checked Cobras thread and the latest pwhex for Lv 7 is rev 7.797. Unfortunately the link he provided (
http://www.sendspace.com/file/juqn39) does not work anymore. [:(]
On the RHS homepage I couldn't manage to locate the file, so could someone please point me to a download source and furthermore may someone also add me to the primary distribution list? Thanks in advance.
PS: Having the RHS website is a good idea but the filenames are so long they are cut off and I usually don't know what I download until I started the download. Might be worthwile to sort that data and maybe provide shorter file names.

If you cannot find a file anywhere else, you can ask one of us for it. Mifune, M10Bob and I usually are online very often - and sometime soon again so will Cobra be (we hope).

As Mistmatz noted (from drw61) it is available at the RHS web site, and as Cid had just said I too am available if anybody needs a file directly.
