Hi

Since two weeks i am playing a game as Japan against the ai. Now i have a problem in china. There are four really big baseforces in northern china. Normally those bfs are static, but one of them moved![X(]

Here is the result:

Ground combat at Tzuyang

Allied Shock attack

Attacking force 320050 troops, 216 guns, 0 vehicles, Assault Value = 4999

Defending force 0 troops, 0 guns, 0 vehicles, Assault Value = 0

Allied max assault: 8816 - adjusted assault: 8398

Japanese max defense: 0 - adjusted defense: 1

Allied assault odds: 8398 to 1 (fort level 0)

Allied forces CAPTURE Tzuyang base !!!

Luckily i was able to move my units out of this base. After that i loaded the game as allied to look at the devices of this baseforce, and all devices that makes this unit static are intact. The unit is also show as static. Why can the ai move this unit??????

Please can someone explain this to me![&:]

Enrico

i've heard of this behavior before, but i can't remember what the explanation for it was.

i think it might have been something was set up wrong for the unit in the editor.

Interesting, planning changed also from Ichang (47) to Chungking (49)...

Where was this BF before? Did you move it to the combat place or has it been there (did spawn there?) and just wasn't kicked out by the japanese?

This baseforce was in Hsin-tai. It is the hex east of the base where the unit is now.
Here is a picture before the unit moved:

AFAIK, to make sure unit doesn't move it has to be CD fort/fort etc. And depending on static device, that "Chinese Warlord" may not be enough to make unit immobile, especially if forced to retreat.
