I used to play the old Tallonsoft version a lot in the past and have now upgraded to the matrix games edition. One of the first scenarios I tried out was Test of Courage which is one of the smaller ones. I took the Free french side and noticed that something very strange was happening. The axis uints only appeared as question marks. The could move right next to my M5 tanks and still be on map as question marks. I was not allowed to shoot at them nor move into the same hex. yet in axcis turn my units would get fired upon at will. My past experience only had the question mark appearing when it was an empty transport which was only unit with LOS to the location. This is what the manual says. However this is not how Test of Courage plays out. I tried reversing sides and took axis side. My axis units just walked through the map without ever being fired upon. Same thing was troubling the computer allied player. I don't understand this. Is there something wrong with this scenario. I had played some of other scenarion with matrix edition and not seen this.

Have you added the 1.02B Temporary Patch?

Its me again. I just installed 1.02 and tried re-running but result is the same. If I can add an attacjment then I can send screen shot. The M5 unit in village surrounded by question marks at range 1  to 3 hexes. How can I find out what patch level the programme is at. I went help about and all it says is version 2.0

Don't forget to install the 1.02B Temporary Patch

First install the 1.02 Update, then install the 1.02B Temporary Patch by following the instructions carefully.

The patch level will hopefully be addressed in 1.03. 1.03 will be a cumulative update coming out around Christmas.
