ATA Refueling

I had a chain of three MC-130s set up to refuel a long range flight of 2 CV-22s. Worked like a charm for the first two refuels but wouldn't initiate for the third. Is this a function of fuel left for the tanker (was between 45-50% Bingo at the time)? Can you only refuel a given a/c twice?

Its a function of a few bugs in refueling that appear to be fixed for the first patch.  The game as released blocks refueling sometimes by putting in a request for a refuel in the somewhat distant future and then ignores any player request for more immediate refueling.

HCE - 2007.023
==============
- Chg:0000 GE Refueling manually will now replace any existing refueling
events that haven't started to transfer fuel. The aim is
to prevent an inability to manually refuel (i.e. the command
is given but no refuel occurs until much later).

Tony,

Could this also be part of the problem where some a/c can be issued a refuel order and other a/c refuel at the pleasure of the GE?..

I've noticed something like this. I was trying to refuel an awacs with an extender. The first extender did it fine, and when I needed to refuel again, I had to split and rejoin the groups multiple times before it would work.

yep, both situations, frustrating, and fixed as far as the beta testers can tell.
