Show pulsating radars?

There is no reference to this option in the manual. What value does this serve? I see the animated pulses from my Prowler. Is it just a visual affect?

Yep. Purely visual. I don't usually use it.

The pulsing radar is supposed to show the radar's range against the various size classes as listed in the DB. So Large/Small/VSmall as it pulsates. But that has little to no bearing to the radar model in HCE.
