Hi,

Playing Tutorial 6 - Air Ops in the demo version, I have a problem where the E-3 won't launch if I have aircraft logistics turned on. Is this a known issue with the scen not being compatible with this feature (as I understand it, the logistics feature is farily new)?

Hmm, it seems I am mistaken. The E-3 won't launch at all, even with Aircraft Logistics off. I made the mistake of thinking it would launch because if you launch it before you unpause, it will actually dissappear from the aircraft list after you hit continue, making me think it would launch ok. However, a minute or two later it is back in the list in READY state, and from then on, you can't launch it, it just keeps reverting back to READY.

I am using the demo downloaded from the AGSI site, when it starts it says "H3CA Version 3.8.0.0 Release Candidate 1". Do I need to, or can I, upgrade?

Not yet. You can't upgrade from the USNI demo just yet. There isn't a USNI option available to buy yet.

You can buy ANW, but that hasn't been patched to the same level as USNI - the patches are still being worked on. Progress is going well though.

Dale is quite right, there are issues with that scenario. Hopefully they will be sorted and the demo re-released? That's for Dale to inform though, could happen, could not.

You have to understand that there was a lot of demand for a Harpoon ANW demo - this got released. Apart from the 3D models and the choice of pictures for (US) units, there isn't a lot of difference between that and ANW (although ANW doesn't come with the USNI database or the scenarios included in the demo).

No promises on the patch date - it's finished when it's finished.

He he, I wasn't referring to the patch specifically, only to the fact that devs and testers are there to answer questions FYI, I just bought the sim, and patched it with the beta patch (RC11), and the E3 launches fine in the tutorial.
