It's mid-January game time. I'm having a bit of trouble and I am wondering if I haven't missed something. Calcutta is a non-port (OK), so I have been shipping all my oil and resources from Rangoon into Diamond Harbor. It is not flowing into Calcutta (or anywhere else)!! I know there has been many changes to these with the different scenarios. At one time wasn't there a rail (or something else) to move these. Is is still there?

You can hit the "r" key to see the underlying rail/road/trail connections that the game is using. (The game engine ignores/does-not-know-what-is-drawn-as the map art.)

OK I checked and it's there. Things must be moving and it is my impatience.

Another question, what are the colored lines on the connections? I don't know what color, I am color blind as hell.

There IS a rail connection between Daimond Harbor and Calcutta. This is the best possible logistic connection and will move in either direction supplies, fuel, resources, or oil, as required.

The colors that matter to you are not too hard to see - the white hex side means "both" - so that is the path both ships or land units may take down a river network.
