Back again, friends.

Ok.... I've got plays. I've got them in my playbook. I've got a profile. I run a game, and don't like some plays. I want to remove a handful or plays. I try to 'delete' them, and it wants to delete them from my entire folder. I only want to 'remove' them from my playbook.

How do I do this, please?

If you select delete play in the max utility, it should first ask to delete from playbook, then it should ask if you want to delete from disk.
