I have been playing a long campaign. After completing a battle,I find my lost armor units indicated by 'crewman' only, which is fine as they lost their mounts. However when I click on them to replace, I only get the infantry selection. So now I have many recon groups etc, instead of being able to give them new armor.
Am I missing a choice or selection button that I can either eliminate these crews or give them new mounts for the next battle in the campaign?

No, you haven't missed anything at all, Sarge. This is a type of bug in the game currently.

First the good news . Now with version 2.0 you'll be able to swap a unit for another of a different type. That will be your choice. That is the good news.

Now the bad news

Extra crews won't be seen anymore in these battles. They'll be given new armor if possible or they'll be assigned to a never-never land unit

So, kinda half and half, wouldn't you say, Sarge ?
