Download error

I bought and downloaded the CC: MT. After two hours of downloading, I tried to unzip but it wouldn't. It just says "File Header is damaged. Abort operation?".
I've downloaded it two times, same thing. Although the second time it took well over 3 hours.
I actually have stuff to do, so I can't spend my life downloading crap that won't work.
So, how do I fix it? Or better yet; how can Matrix Games fix it for me?
In all fairness this is not my problem. I paid for software I did not get.
If someone has an idea of where I can get a hold of any real tech support I would like to hear it.
So far all I've seen is "join bla bla bla" and "contact us at.."

I had this same problem. I have no technical experiance with computers, But I can offer what I did to make mine work. After recieving the error I rebooted my comp and shut down all background programs. It installed that time without a problem.
Hope this helps.

Thanks.
But nothing new happened.
Pardon my french, but I think this is a case of shitty internet security.
After downloading that horrible file THREE times, a total of 9 hours wasted, nothing new happened. Other than my computer dying. I'm a regular person, I know NOTHING about computers. And I don't want to know.
But when I pay for something I expect the item to work.
No more e-mails, no more forum posts.
I'm through fucking around.
Give me my money back, Matrix! Or add 9+ hours to my lifespan, which ever is realistic.

It sounds like the zip file is not completely downloaded and corrupted. Before you download again make sure to delete (empty the trash bin too) the corrupted file you already have downloaded and also clear your browsers cache. If you have troubles downloading large files then we suggest you use a download client like "Stardownloader" available for free from
www.stardownloader.com . It will let you resume disconnected or broken downloads. You can even pause them and resume them whenever you want.

So, now what you're saying is that if I do those things it'll work?
I did them two frickin' times after the first download failed.
I haven't tried stardownloader, so I'll give it a shot.
And if it doesn't work now, I demand my money back.
Thanks

Dude, tone the attitude down a bit, eh?
The downloads work for the vast majority of the people the vast majority of the time. It sounds like your problems are due to your computer, or ISP or even your decompression application, so lets start working to a solution for you.
First, what kind of computer do you have. What OS does it have?
What sort of connection do you have? Cable, DSL, DialUp, and which company?
What decompression application do you use? WinZip, WinRAR, your internal OS's?
There are many things that can corrupt a download or fail to extract it properly. Help us help you by letting us know about your configuration.

Well, my attitude is due to the fact that I'm not used to 2 hours, 3 hours, 6 hours, 9 hours waiting for a computer to finish some mindless task.
And for that I apologize.
After trying stardownloader, it worked. So Wo-hoo for you guys!
Thanks!
I don't want my money back

I'm afraid in this day and age it is necessary to learn at least something. At least if you choose PC over Mac, anyway. [;)]
If you don't you are doomed to repeats of such frustration at regular intervals as most 'issues' are at 'your' end. I know.. I've been there... [:(]

Hey man, glad to hear you had success! I even had problems one of the test builds. One dropped packet or two and a messed up build of WinRAR had me going for several hours.
Perseverance pays off! Enjoy.
