I am just wondering what levels of victory people are getting in this simple scenario. I have played it three times with 2 marginal's and one loss.

The planes do not seem to be all that accurate when bombing the ships that are sitting there with big targets painted on their hulls?

Get in closer before you launch. Race toward Pearl Harbor and then launch before dawn from about 150 nautical miles away. Planes within normal striking distance deal 3 times as much damage as planes operating at extended range. And use your Zeros to bomb as well. Also - at close range you should be able to get in three strikes easily during daylight. By the third wave you should be running out of targets. I just tried it and sank 8 BBs, 2 CAs, 1 CL, and 14 DDs.

Thanks I tried that and I got a decisive victory. Managed to get within 140 nm's from Pearl and got three strikes in.

And my first shot at Wake as the Japanese. Decisive Victory. This game rocks!!!
