Update : here's the download link http://www.uploading.com/files/29HT9QUQ ... e.rar.html
THE HOST IS NSFW , just a warning
Sorry about the bad host, please have fun testing and comment on balance and the map. It's designed for both sides, mp or sp.
Standard ressuply on 4th day on both armys, Altough the brits have more armor the germans have some nice defense on the peninsula.
Both sides have to race to the peninsula and there are multiple bridges. This has been a learning experience for me i am sure my next
maps will be improved and better, thanks for making this possible i just love drawing maps and making scenario's but i just started so i am
still learning a lot every day.
I have finnished my first hand made map , i am trying to learn the software before doing real topo maps, my new map is total fiction.
My question is , in the scenario editor, can i use already done estabs to my new map, i would like to use germans vs brits , an all around mix but not too much units, im thinking 2000-3000 each side. I want artillery, and motorised infantry and some armor. Do i really have to make it from scratch or can i use an already done scenario and remove some units, add others, substract some more, add more days, change weather, airstrikes, fine tuning, etc.
I see in the manual that there are Force lists , is there anywhere i can download those already done forcelists ?
I hope you like it, i dont know how this will turn out but i hope you apreciate it, i really do want to make a lot more but i have to start somewhere and learn.
My biggest issue still is topography, i hope the map does not look too unrealistic, and that you can see the geology around, it probably contains errors.
Please feel free to comment.
This map is 50km x 40km
I posted in wrong section, i tought i was in modding section, please bump this to modding section.

Well Arjuna, I wanted to do it by hand, but my biggest problems is names, when drag and dropping estabs you have to rename everything, takes a lot of time.
In the manual there seems to be a nice xml force list, i assume those can be imported and modified. At this point im simply looking on a good method of dropping army units, with bases and hq's on both sides, with some basic reinforcements.
This is where i get stuck because i dont know how to name these units. Right now making units is what i find most difficult , i dont have access to force lists i'm not sure whats a good method.

Well i exported 12th armee and 1st UK brigade, ill delete most of it and try to make a nice force, its a bit confusing and its gonna take me a while but i think it's the fastest.
Does my supreme force need more than 1 sub hq ?

A possible problem is having identical units with the same name.

That's not only allowed, that's the easiest way to do it.
You'll find some templates scenarios in the scenario directory. Each with various estab already instantiated.
Have fun.

Sorry my keyboard layout is US , it does not bother me even though im hurting my own language.
I just did a quick test, apparently both armys have 25 000 troops or so at map start + about 10-20k reinforcements , so it's quite slow in that map, i'll have to cut that number down by 5 at least on both startup + reinf.
I have a last question, when i checked my reinforcements, they show up in single units, how do you show grouped reinforcements ?

Those templates are great, i will most likely export all forces possible for maximum customization. And them import the ones you like , fine tune , great info thank you.
I will be carefull on map size and unit/force size , i cant do much about map size for this one, but i'll be carefull on what units i use.

Well im happy with my initial testing, this turned out great, the last thing i need to solve is that reinforcement window , i'm not sure how to group them in there (more than 1 unit).
I will probably try to upload the scenario after. Thanks for the help everyone!

You can bring in an entire regiment as a reinforcement by just dragging the HQ unit into the reinforcment window.

Hehe what's wrong with Randyville!!!!!
So if i drag a HQ to the reinforcement window and nothing else it will bring the units under him as well ?
