I just got a really weird naval combat outcome. Swedish heavy and light fleets moving as a stack attacked a British light fleet in the Amsterdam blockade box. Swedes won, and after the combat finished the English fleet is in London.....all well and good. The funky bit is the Swedish fleets have both turned up back in Stockholm. Any ideas why?

Was this an interception? If so then Swedes should have been able to continue moving...
 

From memory I purposely attacked the British fleet in the blockade box. But it could have been a British interception. The combat was in the blockade box, anyway.

Like I say when the screen changed back from the combat to the map the location of the (defeated) British fleet was London and the Swedish heavy and light (both involved) was Stockholm. They were able to continue movement from there.
