Could you post more details so that we could have a chance of replicating it? What area, what countries, and so on?

well instead of putting this in a different place, i am playing turkey and a russian corps is attacking me in russia and now getting this, but its not first time, in my first game as france, i suddenly got it like all battles i was in, but not sure its the same message, as i had not seen in in other nations i had played until now.

but unlike StCyr, i had to click twice to get into the battle, different from france issue, it was more each time i clicked done i believe. (have to keep an eye on this)

So this has happened twice now?

First time France attacking a Prussian depot in Magdeburg in March 1805. Crashed to Windows.

Second time are you saying that several French Corps totalling 95 factors were attacked by a prussian corps with 5 factors in Berlin and it crashed again?

i am playing right now and i just had another, russia attacked a feudal cav corps with leader in russian territory, no depots present and i get this Could not RKey again. different from when i was playing french. this pop up when its changing to to the combat part.

heh, just got another, i looked up ? to see what tactic to use, needed to see if i should withdraw, clicking it away again, caused another Could not RKEY message :/

If you could get me the save game file before this battle happens, I can take a look.
Remember, it's 2 files GAME.sav.dat and GAME.sav. They ZIP really well for email.

sorry, did not save that turn, i decided it annoyed me too much, so switched to playing spain.

Seems that issue is only with Turkey being attacked by russia, france seems to include the issue when AI have to pick a tactic in combat, not when combat screen is starting up, but could be because Russia was attacking me, as i as france was attacking enemy, so picking chit first?

Ditto, I've seen this a couple times now. Didn't get a crash though and was able to play through OK. Only issue I've experienced so far.

when you experienced this, was it because you where attacking a russian or russian hitting you? begun to wonder if its something wrong with the russian info.

In my case I was playing Austria and France was attacking.  Depots at Venice and Vienna were involved in two battles, so the issue appears to be with depots and not Russians.
