Serial Number and Installation Error...

I just purchased Hornet Leader via digital download, and when I try to install, the installation hangs at the very last file (the readme file), as someone else already reported. However, the installation is complete. This also happened with the demo version, but I was able to make a shortcut to the .exe and the installation ran fine, but there was no program group created or listed in the Start Menu. This happened in both Vista and XP Pro.

However, with the full version, I am not able to run the executable because it returns me to the desktop with an error 200 saying that there is a problem with my serial number. The error says to contact Matrix Games Support.

I enetered the serial number as listed on screen and in the e-mail confirmation. Still No Joy.

Please help.

That means the installer was unable to finish the settings necessary for the serial number check. Have you tried turning off all other apps, especially anti-virus and security apps, during installation to see if that helps it to complete?

I am getting the same error that was reported by someone else in the forum on install...

I have to kill the process. It just stays up stuck at this point unless I kill it.

I really need to be able to fix this.

This happens in Vista and XP, and I have tried just about everything to get it to work.

Any ideas?
