can't take minor corps casualties?

I don't know whether this is a bug, or some rule I'm not getting. In the attached land Combat Phase (if the attachment works, haven't done one of these before), in the battle at Berlin, I wasn't able to take casualties from the Hesse Corps or the Saxony Corps. It happened on my phase and then on the Prussian turn also. It's not a militia thing, since they're all infantry. And it doesn't seem to be a minor corps thing per se, since I could take the casualties from the Hanover Corps.

Not sure about this one, do they have 2 morale and due to a bug or as a feature cant be casualties as militia? Its the only viable explanation I can think of.

I wondered about that too, but it's actually the Hanover corps that has low morale, and I could take the casualties there. The Saxons and Hessians are morale 3, I think. I've also never noticed this happening in previous battles.

I have a vague memory of reading a rule somewhere, not sure its from the boardgame or from the computer game that losses from minors cant be dispropotional to the army size, can it be something like that?

I didn't look at the attached file, but I think the related rule is:
12.3.6 PROPORTIONAL LAND LOSSES: When army factors of mixed nationality (including minor country nationalities) participate in a combat, the losses suffered should be as nearly proportional to the starting proportions as possible. Round ".5" and above up. When proportions do not "round out" precisely, an "odd" loss or losses should be assigned by mutual agreement or, if agreement cannot be reached, by competitive die rolls. Once the number of army factors lost by each contingent are determined, the controlling players decide the types of factors to be lost by each contingent (within the normal limits for militia, cavalry, guard, etc. factors that must be lost by the whole army) by mutual agreement or, if impossible, by competitive die rolls.

FYI: Loaded your game and played the combat. This is a bug with units on the second page. I have fixed this and will slip this into our first patch!

Marshall:
I think there's another bug: The proportional losses stuff isn't calculated for the players. It seems to have to be manual. In a battle as France, I was able to take 8 Dutch infantry and one Dutch cavalry as my 9 losses. I didn't have to take a single French loss except for the guard commitment I used.
Now, I don't recommend you hold up a patch to fix this, though. For the present, you could use an honor system: Just display what the approximate losses should be under the main number at the top of the screen. Players can take them themselves, at least until a hard fix comes.

proportional land losses are not in the game iirc
that was an optional rule (?) from the print version
