El Cid,
I was looking at AIO 7.788 and CAIO 7.788 and found that some of the IJA divisions in AIO are set to HQ 02 IJA Home Def Force and do not have a set base to arrive at. I would think that this would cause them to arrive in Tokyo and just sit there. Will the AI reassign them and send them to china? (I don’t think so but have not yet tested it.)
Some of the units are:
1679 - IJA 115th Garrison (In CAIO arrives in 373 Peking HQ- 07)
1682 - IJA 114th Garrison
1685 - IJA 118th Garrison
1686 - IJA 119th
1690 - IJA 33rd Garrison
1701 to 1715
There are more, if you want a complete list let me know.

These units appear to be set properly - the first 3 are China locations and China HQ - no problem with that. The fourth is a location in Manchukuo - and Kwangtung Army HQ - also right. 5th is location in China, and China HQ. 1701 to 15 - all Manchukuo and Kwangtung Army. No problems.

That is all as intended - the units appear where formed.

Ah - I see it. The problem is in AIO ONLY. But it is OK. Home Defense Force HQ and default appearence means they will appear in Japan - be properly set - and work. They will defend Japan in AIO.
