Any good links to naval information

Hi,
I am searching for some good links to naval information web sites. For example, I am now playing a south vs north korea scenario and when i detect and identify a ship via ESM or acoustics, I would like to be able to find out if that ship is used by the north korean navy, or the chinese navy or both, that way I can assume that any ship used solely by n.korea is hostile, and so are the other ships around it moving in the same speed and direction.
Thanks in advance and merry christmas

WhiteOwl,
Try this link:
http://www.hazegray.org/worldnav/ although not updated for a few years it should still provide you with a good source of information about the vessels used by various countries. Although a Country and date restriction applies to unit placement in Scenedit, which by default allows you to insert a vessel onto the map by country, there is no way to tell exactly which country uses which vessel(s).
I may look at adding an addition informational entry to the vessel's text descriptions in the HUD3, looking something like this:
USERS: PRC, DPRK, USSR, Poland, East Germany
It's probably just something each DB Editor has to consider and from my viewpoint it seems like an added requirement with a lot of merit. Part of the rather large learning curve encountered by our newer users is simply coming to terms with the huge amount of information Harpoon3 Advanced Naval Warfare presents to its players. Any way to condense and present the information contained in the game's database in a more efficient way is something that deserves proper consideration.
Cheers
Darren

Just chip in with my two favourites (they're not just Navy though);
http://www.fas.org
http://www.globalsecurity.org
It's usually best to search each site, as not all the documents have been metatagged to show up in search engines like Google.
