Just learning this game, love it!

I was wondering, what would happen if say I as the Axis led Germans, did not invade France but rather continued bombing runs and perhaps took out the fortified troops on Frances West Wall?

Then I concentrated on Russia?

This is me taking Poland and also Holland.

Well the game allows it. It actually sounds feasible, but doing so you will forgo the production points of France and Belgium. Give it a try and let us know how it works out for you. There certainly is a lot of replay value in this game. Myself, I've been trying to finish France early enough to give me the chance to take out Spain, and more importantly Gibraltar, before invading the USSR becomes a priority. The Italian fleet can make a big difference if it can get out into the Atlantic before the US comes into the war.
