Has the manual been revised/improved yet? I'm a little concerned with the time involved in getting up to speed on this game with all the others I have going... [:D] I see there is some user created tools from Lava and Flintlock but wondered about the manual too.

I have to admit the manual is missing things but 5-10 games will educate you vs the AI and vs PBEM players. This is not that complicated. In a week you should with a little reading and asking questions understand 90% of the game, the rest is the Finer Points you should only pick up over Months...
I was a little apprehensive at first at buying a title like this
but all in all it's worth it... You will get some months of enjoyment, it may not last for years but it is worth the price for Direct Download and I personally would say the best if not the only real WW1 on-line boardgame style wargame I've played. Not too many bugs that aren't being remedied

I too would strongly recommend buying this title. New purchases get a revised rules manual which should make learning easier. Well worth the effort any my favourite of Matrix releases of 2007.

Why don't prior customers get an update manual?
Frank or Erik, care to answer this one? Thanks.

I'm not aware of us ever stating that prior customers would not get the updated manual. Where did you see that?
The plan was always to post it up in the Members Club for prior customers, which we just did today after getting back from vacation yesterday.
Regards,
- Erik

Erik,
I was responding to a post further up the thread, since I thought the update had been promised to all. Thanks!
