I have never had any problems with the game until now. When I tried to load the game a window pops up and says " can not load FFdshow" I then continue to load game and play but now it's very slow. Any ideas what this warrning is and why it now pops up at the loading page. I have all the latest updates and patches too.

FFDshow is a coder/decoder that some other program probably loaded on your computer. Have you downloaded any "free" software lately?

Yes, fddshow is a video codec. Rename WitP's "video" folder into "novideo", and see if you're able to run the game.
